Welcome to HiveCart. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the HiveCart website at hivecart.in (the "Website") and any purchase you make from us. Please read them carefully. By browsing the Website, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1. Use of the Website

You may use the Website to browse our products, place orders, and manage your account. By using the Website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are using it under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, and that you are able to enter into a legally binding contract.

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or discourage the use of the Website by, anyone else. We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Website at any time without prior notice.

2. Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products subject to these Terms. After you place an order, we will send an order confirmation to the email address you provided. This confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order; it does not guarantee that we have accepted it.

An order is accepted only when we dispatch the products to you. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order, in whole or in part, for reasons that include product unavailability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraudulent or unauthorised activity. If we cannot accept your order after payment has been made, we will cancel it and refund the amount paid.

3. Payments

All payments on the Website are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) through secure, third-party payment gateways. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout, which may include credit and debit cards, UPI, net banking, wallets, and cash on delivery (COD) where available.

HiveCart does not store your complete card or bank details. All payment information is handled directly by our payment partners under their own security standards. Your order will be processed once payment is successfully authorised. If a payment fails or is declined, your order will not be confirmed. For any payment that is deducted but not reflected against a confirmed order, please contact us and we will help resolve it.

4. Pricing

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping charges, if any, are shown separately at checkout before you confirm your order.

We work to keep pricing accurate, but errors can occasionally occur. If we discover a pricing error on an item you have ordered, we will contact you before dispatch to let you know and to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund. Prices, offers, and discounts may change at any time and promotional prices apply only for the stated period or while stocks last.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We deliver across India through trusted courier and logistics partners. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive tracking details by email so you can follow its progress. You can also track your order anytime from the Track Order page or from the Orders section of your account.

Estimated delivery timelines are shown at checkout or on the product page and are indicative, not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary due to your location, courier schedules, product availability, public holidays, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. Please ensure the shipping address and contact details you provide are complete and accurate, as we are not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect information. If a delivery is returned to us because it could not be delivered after reasonable attempts, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery or a refund.

6. Cancellations

You may request to cancel an order before it has been dispatched by contacting us as soon as possible with your order number. Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled, though you may be able to return it under our Returns & Refunds policy below.

We may also cancel an order at our discretion, for example where the product is out of stock, where there is a pricing or listing error, or where we suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, you will receive a full refund.

7. Returns & Refunds

Your satisfaction matters to us. If you are not happy with your purchase, you may request a return within 7 days of delivery, provided the item meets the conditions below.

  • The item is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition with all tags, accessories, manuals, free gifts, and original packaging intact.
  • You have proof of purchase, such as your order number or order confirmation.
  • The item is not part of a category marked as non-returnable on the product page (for hygiene, safety, or other reasons).

To start a return, contact our support team with your order number and, where relevant, photographs of the item. If your product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please notify us within 7 days of delivery with supporting photos and we will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you whether your refund is approved. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method, or as store credit where you prefer, within a reasonable time. The time it takes for the refunded amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider. Shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable except where the return is due to our error, such as a damaged, defective, or incorrect item.

8. Product Information

We take care to describe and display our products as accurately as possible, including images, specifications, and features. However, actual products may vary slightly from the images shown due to differences in screen settings, lighting, photography, or manufacturer updates. Colours, sizes, and packaging may differ marginally from what is displayed.

Product availability is not guaranteed and may change without notice. We reserve the right to correct any errors or inaccuracies in product descriptions, images, pricing, or availability, and to update product information at any time.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including the HiveCart name and logo, text, graphics, images, product descriptions, page designs, layouts, and software, is owned by or licensed to HiveCart and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and use the Website for your personal, non-commercial shopping purposes only.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, or use any content from the Website for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. The HiveCart brand name and logo may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not ours, or in any way that causes confusion or discredits HiveCart.

10. Your Responsibilities

When you use the Website, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when placing orders or creating an account.
  • Keep your account credentials confidential and take responsibility for all activity under your account.
  • Not use the Website for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity, or to place speculative, false, or fraudulent orders.
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its servers, or any connected systems, or to disrupt or interfere with its security or functionality.
  • Not upload or transmit any harmful code, or use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Website without our permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who breaches these Terms.

Any personal data you share with us, such as your name, contact details, shipping address, and payment information, is collected and used to process your orders, provide support, and improve your shopping experience. 12. Limitation of Liability

The Website and our products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HiveCart will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the Website or from any product purchased, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to that claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
